An Exceptional EQA Visit – Celebrating Excellence at The Full Spectrum Centre Limited

We were honoured to welcome Julie, our External Quality Assurer (EQA) from VTCT, for our scheduled bi-annual visit. These visits are a vital part of ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of our assessment practices, and this visit turned out to be one for the record books!

Two of our dedicated learners, Carol (Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy) and Hannah (Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy), undertook their very first practical assessments during the visit. Both learners demonstrated exceptional knowledge, technique, and professionalism throughout the day. Their portfolios of evidence were robust, well-presented, and comprehensive, clearly showing the time, effort, and passion they’ve put into their learning journey.

Alongside our Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) Cindy and myself (Joanne, tutor and assessor), Julie expressed how impressed she was not only with the learners’ performance, but also with the standard of work and organisation across the centre.

As a result, we’ve now been moved from bi-annual to annual EQA visits – a testament to the strength and consistency of our teaching, assessment, IQA activities and learner support, and a clear reflection of the high standards we consistently maintain.

My tutor Joanne has been incredibly helpful and is always available to support and advise with any questions I’ve had, right from outset of joining the course. Contact and communication with Joanne is readily available through calls or messages, and regular zoom meetings with Joanne and the rest of the students have been really supportive.
